The charity for Vanhoover Pony Expo 2026 is The Green Acres Therapy Horses!
Green Acres Therapy Horses brings hope and healing through our mini therapy ponies Magic and Tinkerbell. They offer mobile opportunities and events and provide services in which they work with you to meet your needs. They offer horse enrichment visits, workshops, and parties for all ages, groups, abilities, and stages of life.
Studies have proven that equine-assisted activities (EAA) improve physical and mental health, lower blood pressure, reduce stress and anxiety, promote conversation, and improve self-esteem and confidence. Spending time with therapy horses increases emotional stability, promotes cognitive and physical regulation, promotes mindfulness, building trust and empathy
The team is Jacqueline and Pamela Green, twin sisters and pony lovers. They started with just two ponies and a dream, and have now grown to a team of four ponies and multiple handlers. They are proud of their roots and the hard work that got them to where they are today.
